Breaststroke drills:
- 2 Kicks 1 Pull. How? Do 2 kicks each pull cycle. Why? Lengthen glide phase + feel the best body position for glide. Link to Video demo.
- 1 Up 1 Down. How? Alternate 1 regular stroke and one stroke completely underwater. Why? Increase undulation and find the best position for glide. Link to video of the drill. Link to video of the drill.
- 2 breast / 2 fly. Alternate 2 breaststroke strokes with 2 butterfly strokes. Why? Butterfly began as a faster way to swim breaststroke. Tying back to this in a drill can boost undulation of head and body to boost your technique.
