The Basics

What should I bring? Water, snacks, extra towels, electrolytes and maybe a folding chair. Meets will have concessions but since meets are usually near dinner time you may want to bring more food for s.o.'s & kids.

What if I need to arrive late / leave early? Let us know in the coaches note.

Kids at meets? Fun relays? Event #1 is a multigen relay that runs as many legs as we have kids + parents. Most meets have an open swim area at the meets that kids can use.

How to sign up for meets?

How to sign up? Once registration opens, go to Meet Signup and click the green button.

How many events? Max of 5 total events, which can be 2 relays + 3 individual or 1 relay and 4 individual.

Which events should I pick? New-to-swim: maybe 25 free, 25 back & 50 free? If you're not quite sure or if you're open to anything, leave us some info in the "Notes to coach" section.

Will I be on a relay? In the coach's note, let us know if you're pro- or anti-relay. We'll try to field as many swimmers as possible on relays. We will have a practice before the first meet focused on meet relays!
